I work for an organisation called Traidcraft, which is both a trading company (Traidcraft Plc) and a charity (Traidcraft Exchange). Traidcraft was established in 1979 as a Christian response to poverty and seeks to fight poverty through trade, in three main ways:

 (1)  Trade (Traidcraft plc buys direct from producers in the developing world)
 (2)  Support (Traidcraft provides finance and training for producers to help them develop their skills)
 (3)  Influence (Traidcraft campaigns to challenge unfair trading practices)
