Tattoos
Left upper arm:

This was my first tattoo which I got while I was bored waiting for my car to have its MOT! It's just a cheapo, off-the-peg one, so there are probably loads of people walking round Stockport with the same thing.

Right forearm:

I really wanted something celtic, because I'm convinced my red hair means there must be some celtic heritage in me somewhere! I also wanted a cross because my Christian faith is the most important thing to me and I wanted an outward sign of that. I have had loads of opportunities to explain the gospel to people because of this tattoo, so it's been well worth it.

Right shoulder:

This means 'forgiven' in Hebrew. I wanted to express the goodness of God's grace to me and the fact that all of my rebellion really is forgiven because of Jesus' sacrificial love. I got into some interesting conversations in Israel because of this tattoo. Nearer home, in a swimming pool down the road, I also indulged in some chat about my faith with a naked Jewish lady when she asked me about forgiveness!

Left forearm underside:

This chapter of the Bible has had such an important role in my life (as you can read in 'My Story'). It falls within a really exciting section of Paul's letter to the Romans and is full of great truth such as, "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"; "We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him" and "If God is for us, who can be against us?".
