As a PR department, we subscribe to a service called 'response source', which is a way of journalists getting in touch with PR departments and organisations to find interviewees / information for their articles. Most of them are along the lines of 'I'm looking for a woman between the ages of 40 and 50 who has recently had botched plastic surgery which caused her partner to walk out on her', but occassionally the requests are more interesting.
A while ago, I responded to a request for someone who used to keep a diary and was willing to look back on the old diary entries and comment about how things have changed since then. Below is the resulting article. (Note how they call me a 'reader' even though I'd never heard of Essentials magazine before this.)
