New Traidcraft catalogue

The new Traidcraft Spring / Summer catalogue is here and it contains a set of cards featuring my Thailand photos!

You can buy the cards at the Traidcraft online shop. It costs £5 for a pack of six and you get 3 each of 2 designs.

The cards are made from FSC certified material and revenue raised from sales is ploughed into Traidcraft's work, helping the fight against poverty in the developing world.

Maternity leave for childless women?

I read with interest a recent article in the Telegraph about employers offering maternity pay to women without children.

The idea of ‘maternity’ pay for childless women seems a bit absurd when phrased like that. However, some sort of sabbatical in order to invest time in a worthwhile project outside of work, in lieu of maternity leave, seems like a sensible and rewarding prospect, not just for childless women, but for men as well.

New cards - Sanctuary

I have got a number of new cards lined up including: Special occasions (birthday, wedding, anniversary, engagement, driving test, exams); a woodland set; an elegant flower set and the Angel of the North. Watch this space to see when they've been released. In the meantime, I have just put up a new set entitled 'Sanctuary', featuring a candle and 2 stained glass windows that I saw on my travels in Italy earlier this year.
