Ugly Dolls from Amsterdam

I thought the opportunities to spot ugly dolls in Amsterdam were going to be scarce as we weren't going to any childhood museums. So imagine my delight when we happened across this junk shop:

Unfortunately it was closed, but we were able to spy some hideous dolls by peering in through the bars.

 
Here's a nice selection to start off with. I particularly like the one on the right whose legs are a completely different colour to her body.

Michelin Maud with her attractive sideburns.

 

Someone's overdone the beard on this rather worrying gnome-type creature. At least it's made of real hair though, unlike his eyebrows.

 

This 'before and after' shot shows a sad state of affairs. Not only has someone made a bad job of stitching his arm back on, but even his plastic mohican seems to have wilted.

 

Sales of yellow contact lenses in Amsterdam have plummeted thanks to this chap.

 

There's something just a little bit disconcerting about being winked at by a smug-looking troll.
